Is that love?

As I sit here on another friday night of solitude, I’m thinking about some of the colloquy I have had over the last couple of months and a few of the observations I made about two of my freiends(Shruti and Sunil). Last night I talked to them. They had a big fight. Had hundreds of complaints about each other.
Sunil said –
· She is not sparing quality time for him.
· She wants to meet him only if she wants to shop.
· She has become demanding in terms of money and shopping. She expects a gift from him on a monthly basis.
· She is overfriendly with other guys.
And the most imp complaint was - she is not independent. Always seeks help.

Shruti said –
· He is spoiling her freedom. He doesn’t allow her to take help from others.
· He doesn’t like her to ‘talk’ to other guys.
· It is very difficult to spare some quality time. I ‘often’ have no ‘time’ to spend.

I had become like a referee. The very first question that I had asked was – do you both want to marry each other? There was an angry silence. After a while Shruti responded – My relationship has reached to a point where I can no longer proceed with this relationship. It was natural for her to feel unhappy. On the other side – Sunil was trapped and traumatized, and longing to regain his relationship with Shruti.

I recommended Sunil that you two create space in your relationship. This may sound like the exact opposite way to get closer, but if you think this is the key. When there is space for each of you to know what you want, follow your bliss and communicate your needs and desires, then there is actually more space AND potential for connection and passion.

Later I spoke to Shruti as well.

Like others she also had her own ‘standards’ to choose her partner. She wanted to get married to an NRI.

This story began when she joined our company -
She met ‘Sunil’ in our office, he was quite attractive, sensible and mature. As days passed they became good friends. Unfortunately Sunil was not an NRI. However, she tried getting his attention. Her approach towards Sunil was always affectionate. After a while Sunil reciprocated. When he pursued her, she denied that she had any interest and moved on. I still remember the day when she came and told me about ‘Pradeep’ who was in US and was an NRI. She claimed that she fell in love once she saw his photo. She had found him on some matrimonial site. They started building the relationship. Shruti’s friendship with Sunil, was jeopardized when she began a passionate affair with Pradeep.

Love stories can never go smoothly. There are always ups and downs to test your strength.
When she insisted him for marriage, she realised that Pradeep didn’t have enough courage to face his parents and convince them. His ‘status’ didn’t allow him to get married to a middle class girl. He knew it very well. He still interacted with her and just gave false hopes. She tried her best to convince him but things didn’t work the way it should have been. Their relationship ended here.

Sunil was always with her on her good or bad times. And he was not aware of their love story which was running in the background.

Generally, Women who stay away from their family are not all that independent. They always seek for attention. They believe that their personal security or self-worth requires the ongoing presence or nurturing of another person. Shruti was, and is also utterly reliant on other people. Sunil changed his job due to his family reasons and was moving away from her company. She was getting on the extinct land with no paths, with no life.

“Missing someone isn't about how long it has been since you last seen them, or the amount of time it's been since you last talked. It is about the every moment when you are doing something and you wish that they were right there with you!"

Life seems beautiful when a friend becomes a part of you. Would be apt to call him ‘more’ than a friend. Shruti started becoming close to Sunil.

He always tried his best to make her happy. He loved her as much as he could. He had enough patience to give her own time and space to accept him hearty. He tried to restore intimacy by doing everything possible to rekindle, reunite, and reinvest in the relationship. She couldn’t retaliate I believe. When we were talking about Sunil I said “try to understand your needs and respect them. Are you hesitant to let go of a sure thing when you don't really know what your options are out there in the world? Don’t let Sunil down, you might loose him. She had a feeling that he can’t live without her and can’t leave her for any reason. She couldn’t differentiate between what she was getting in her past relation and what she is getting in her present.
The saddest part was to not try to understand the meaning of “spending quality time together”
She started avoiding face-to-face visits. “If A Man Loves You, He'll Spend Money On You” became her moral. It is human behavior to advert to the shortcomings. It matters a lot for us. She couldn’t perceive his good qualities which were a lot more to appreciate.

I had many questions in my mind like –
How do we respond when we discover the shortcomings of others? How do we respond to someone we don’t see eye to eye with? How do we respond to those who are bound by a habitual sin? Are we quick to judge them?

I couldn’t get any answers though.

I heatedly suggested “Partners are not perfect. We all have our idiosyncrasies, quirks, and things to improve. And, we all have some good character traits, personality and beautiful gifts. Whatever we focus on will grow and brighten in our minds so make sure you see the ‘beauty’ boldly in your beloved.”

And I had a question for her – was Pradeep ‘perfect’? He just matched a ‘few’ basic criteria and became your “love at first sight”. Don’t bind yourself with some ‘standards’. Try to be fair enough to judge the people by their character not by personal likings. It is much more than that. Do not let past relationships ruin the present. My statement was vigorously assertive. My knowledge says when your memories of the past obscure your vision of the future; it leaves you bankrupt in the present. The fact is - things change, they grow, they improve, I’m sorry but in my opinion they get better.

The pain and fear produced in past relationships holds the key to your most valuable traits. The grief and hurt you carry with you is evident to others, even though you believe it is concealed. Once you have decided to accept the challenge of self-discovery and heal your pain, the types of people drawn into your life will ‘change’ in response to the new energy you send out into the world.

If you love some one because you cannot leave him/her thinking that you should try once to reciprocate or because you do not have any other ‘option’ then it's not love... it's ~experiment~....

I requested her to do not experiment with the living things.
The last thing that I asked her was – “why don’t you let it go if you can’t value it.”

There is so much on my mind right now and I can’t stand to have it weigh on me. Maybe it would be wise to allow all these thoughts to sit, to marinate, to unravel and to perhaps wind down. I have shared my opinions and the observations. What do you think?

Shweta!!

Discovery!!!!

All of us followed the ‘tradition’ of education. Most of which were tuition oriented. The tuition classes was a pious effort of the teacher to a moderated database of all the subject designed to help ‘students’ to develop solutions, share ideas and numerous innovations for a better result. That was a stamp to become a rank holder. You might have some readymade teachers who have had an enlightened talent to teach at home only. However, the same ‘talent’ of your teacher was not pertained in the School. I had never been to any tuition classes till class 11th. When I was in class 12th, my parents were tormented about the board exam’s result. So they forced me to join some tuition classes. My friend (Sweta) and I had joined physics tuition class. And I had broken all the records!!! No! No! I didn’t get the highest marks. I left the class in 10 days instead :-) The solution (tuition) to the problem (board exam) couldn’t apparent me. I always believed in self-studies. I had to face my mom’s enraged reaction. The next strenuous attempt was the mathemetic’s class and I had a ‘long term’ travel because I studied for 30 days. I cajoled my parents that I am not a suitable student for the tuition classes.

Like everybody I was also thrilled with the career options. Everybody wanted to go to IIT (I was an exception), IIM or REC at least. Nobody wants to become the PM or the CM. Don’t you think?? There should be an entrance exam to rule the country and that exam should base on the “attitude” test instead of the “aptitude”. Regardless, I had a bit different desire. Far away there was the sunshine of highest aspirations and I wanted to fulfill that while joining the Army. It didn’t matter whether Indian or German ;) When I had told to my dad. He was calm and said – instead of army you should go for some facetious options where you can exhibit your dexterity.. He didn’t acquire the verdict on my career. However my mom said - “ARMY?????” No! She was actually cohered to a general oratory that the Army is not an appropriate field for the girls. She was not convinced that I could be accomplished legislatively. ...
She gave me other options too -
Doctor - she wanted me to become a great doctor. Although, I don’t like ‘Munna bhai’s’. Now she has a desire to get me married to a doctor at least ;)
Architect – I always liked the designing and constructive works. So it had struck me there.
The most adorable designation – A ‘useful’ Engineer.
I had only three options. I didn’t have 4th and the most desirable option, which was - “None of these”.

After a math prodigy of all the tutors I passed class 12th while holding some rank which was not in a descending order! ;)There was a high time for the ‘pre engineering test’. I had a pre engineering test after 45 days of my board exam. I cleared the test and held a remarkable rank. This was the time when everybody used to choose his or her colleges as per their rank. I had a Regional Engineering College’s option. Which was nearest to my hometown. I got in to the REC. My specialization was in ‘Architecture’. That was a deliberate decision. I had paid the initial fees and completed all the admission formalities. As per the dean the session was supposed to start After 40 days. An ostensible cheerfulness was concealing sadness. Because my mind was afflicted with insanity and had a vehement enthusiasm for the Computer Science (CS) only. My mind was not malleable enough towards the ‘Architecture’.

After 50 days. I joined the session that was already started. The first day was quite pleasant. Our seniors were virtuous and auxiliary to us. After passing a month, the CS provoked me again. My mind was exceedingly frozen and it was not endowed with the great Architectural skills. Eventually, I took a vigorous decision in an eloquent manner. Because I couldn’t persuade myself for Architecture. I went to my hometown impetuously and gave an assault that ‘I am leaving the institution’. That was like a bomb blast in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. My parent’s reaction was seemingly inexplicable. It was the strongest and sanest of them I believe. They tried to open my mind because it was shut against the receptive to new ideas. It was almost mid December and ‘something’ was decided out of the way. I didn’t have any choice for other technical institutions too. Now the information evoked protests from the ‘shocked listeners’. Who were my ‘so called’ relatives. They had a golden chance to give their valuable advice. Few of them said –

#You shouldn’t be solicitous about the ‘Specializations”. You’ll be holding a degree after all!!! Which is more than enough to search a ‘suitable’ candidate.((Disclaimer – He has to be a ‘shoot-able’ candidate rather than ‘suitable’ to hold my assertion these days (don’t worry!!) ;))) This disclaimer is applicable to all the visitors of this blog!!
Carry on….
#You shouldn’t take any RISK and don't be too feisty. You have chosen a technical field. It will be very difficult to choose other fields. You will not be able to adjust in the ‘lower’ fields etc etc….
#A mere assertion came from an ‘Engineer’ or you can call him an omen. He said –“Engineering is not an ‘esteemed’ field for women. You shouldn’t go ‘out’ for a job” and this field will not strengthen your fiscal position. Most of the parents chose their kid’s occupation before they born! He was the one among them.

However I was stubborn and foolish person who had rejected all the “special winter offers which came with 100% discount as they said – FREE ADVICES”. Meanwhile I was planning to take up an entrance again. It was a like playing dice. There was a possibility of loosing the chance too. Nobody encouraged me throughout the marathon race to keep on running. Because it was almost Jan and the test was in April. Moreover, I was not taking any tuition or coaching classes. They had lost hope in me. However there was an angel who supported me. It was my elder Sister. She had a few words -

“Take your decision on your own risk. Do not expect anybody to support or help you. Never give up in despair nor think you are through. If you will not take a chance you can’t move ahead. “

That was the golden words for me and I follow the same even today.
Since then I started preparing for the entrance. And the day came which was the game of a coin. I had a chance to oscillate the coin. I scored the rank. Again! I had a chance to take a REC however I couldn’t get CS there. So I didn’t repeat the ‘miss-take’ again. I had chosen another college with the CS specialization. And I found gems (my all time good friends).

“The sky had lightened after the storm.”

From the skies of life, tearing the clouds of sadness there came a ray of hope. When it reached to my ‘so called’ relatives, they appreciated my effort and rigid decision. I had a triumph of high achievement. A few days ago the same person was stubborn and foolish. Wah! I became an intelligent or an ideal person in a few months. Hats off them!!!!!

This was the discovery that I might have not won, and tried when I knew I can LOSE.

Cheers!
A stubborn

An astonished journey..

After a successful release of the project, I felt rational and objective to evaluating or dealing with the past situations. That was my mind, grown weary due to the state of being oppressed. I wanted to move out of Bangalore for a day at least. I had booked the ticket one day before I had flown. I had a plan to take off from Bangalore on Friday morning and land back on Monday Morning...

This post is a recap of my Journey (Feb 2008) to Pune. I had been to my friend’s (Sweta) house. That’s my second home.
As you all are familiar with the agony of ‘road traffic’, which is ‘exclusively licensed’ in Bangalore. I took two hours to reach the Airport. It had not happened the first time when I hurried towards the Airport or the Railway station. It’s my destiny and I have an allegiance about the journey that is - “If everything seems to be going well, I have obviously overlooked something”. So it always enables me to clinch lucrative deals with the fast action :-).

I had almost missed the flight. There was a last and final call for me. Needless to say, I just ran towards the checking gate. My adventures began at the security gate when I entered the flight…everybody caught unawares and had fashioned expressions. Like They were just waiting for me :-) My seat number was not properly perceptible to the eye due to the coarse sign of the stamp. I stealth fully used my ninja skills to confirm the seat number. I got to my seat and sat down.

Meanwhile, the ‘safety’ instructions were given by flight crew. Some of the efficacious and statistical informations were -

1. Smoking is prohibited. Any person caught smoking will be asked to ‘leave the flight immediately’. I genuinely wanted to know - "Is that possible in thousands feet above in the air????"
2. Your seat cushions can be used for floatation in the event of an emergency water landing. Thankfully, they didn’t add - please take them with our compliments.
3. There may be 50 ways to leave your husband or wife, but there was only 4 ‘way’ out of the Flight.

After the diminution of my mind I noticed there was a kid sitting beside me, almost 3 years old. Instantly, a ‘person’ came reluctantly from the rear of the flight and sat down. Looked like a "happy family". A cutest daughter was sitting beside her distraught dad as I thought. However, they were not facing each other.

The ‘person’ had wore black glasses inside the flight –

I appreciated his "determination" for holding BLACK glasses "inside the flight" and I conjectured his purpose – Is he a blind?? Or he bought a new "chashma".
Again! I thought he is a celebrity and didn't want to be noticed. Fortunately he was not looking like any "khans”, "kapoors"and "Kumars" or any cricket-kars like Gavaskar or Tendulkar.

Although, the flight was going till Pune, still without squandering more time, he asked a million dollar question - "Are you going to Pune??"

I wanted to tell him "God knows! Actually, I want to go to BHATINDA. Forcefully, this poor caption is taking the flight to Pune”. Ufff!!! Can’t help…however I replied - "yeah! I am going to Pune".

I didn't fire any question on him. Eventually, the ‘kid’ started talking to me ‘only’. The ‘person’ tried to pursue the ‘kid’. However there was an angry silence. I thought, he might have not fulfilled her peremptory demands so she is angry and doesn't want to talk. Honestly! That "kid" reminded me of my childhood :-). Well, take it easy!!!

After a while, he wanted to place an order for a veg sandwich. Before that he had an intelligent doubt and asked in an archaic manner- Is! the "Sandwich" good??

What do you expect from the flight Attendant ?? Would she/he say – “No!! Not at all, it’s terrible and made of adulterated cement. You should be ‘innovatively challenged’ to bite it”. Nevertheless, that Attendant replied - Yes Sir! It’s good. He took a plate of sandwich and offered the kid too. AGAIN!! That kid’s growled reaction was not responsorial. It was neutral instead. I profaned ‘Newton’ because his law “For every action there is an equal and an opposite reaction” failed here and I realised “every ‘kind’ action has a ‘not-so-kind’ reaction”. Finally, I prevailed myself that ‘she is angry with him’.

The ‘person’ was tired of ‘our’ enormously positive attitude and had started READING the magazine or otherwise…

We were about to reach Pune and heard an announcement –

“Ladies and Gentlemen, we have reached our cruising altitude now, so we are going to switch the seat belt sign off. Please stay inside the flight till we land”. I think they were concerned about the prepaid auto and taxi wala. Whether any passenger could use their personal ‘parachute’ instead, to fly from the flight to their destinations directly, before the flight land to the Airport of course!!!!!!!!

When the flight landed, the scene was entirely different. A lady from the front seat already having a kid nearly 3 to 4 months got up and sneaked the ‘kid’ away who was sitting beside me. The scenery of a verdure garden was moving away and a ball of my doubt bowled as if to break one way that actually broke in the opposite way –GOOGLYYY!!!!!! I just looked at the ‘person’ and could feel his reaction and vice versa. I uttered – I thought the ‘kid’ is with you. I could see the question mark in his face because he was thinking that the ‘kid’ is with me. I asked for such an upbringing reason and he had given a few valid and observant points of which some were –

Firstly, more or less the kid has a look as you have.
Secondly, you both are in almost the same attire, which was ‘white coloured’ (off white is never considerable for me :-))
The third and the most effective point for that I had given him hundred points out of hundred, was - “the ‘kid’ and ‘you’ were not ready to accept the pleasant affairs, also I was not pretentious enough to pursue the ‘kid’ or ‘you’”. I felt that we both (the kid and me) have a ‘genetic diseases’, which is – “don’t talk to me” and it is not easy to be cured.”

I had not given any explanation or excuses, just gave a gentle smile and said ‘good bye’ to him…..

A lesson that I learnt from this incident was – “Don’t believe in your doubts and doubt in your beliefs.”

This was my second ‘best’ journey. The first one was in Diwali - Oct 2005 when Karnataka was flooded. The flights and trains had cancelled from Bangalore due to the heavy rainfall. However, Lovish (one of my ever best friend) and I had an adventurous time with others in Tamilnadu Express.

And I believe there are more adventures to come….

“Khadus! As he felt ;)”

GERMANY

I remember my first day at IBM - exciting, inspiring and a little daunting. Working for a global company like IBM offers amazing opportunities to work and “only work”. However, it takes time to get to know the organization, its processes and the colleagues of course!

It was Sep 8th 2005 I stepped into IBM in Bannerghatta office. There was an inclusive and boring induction program. A traditional welcome was given to the employees by Indigenous IT influencers or you can call them “ HR’s”. Thankfully it was only for 2 days. The third day I went to SA2. That was a place where new joinees used to sit. When I entered the conference room, I saw a bunch of people who were doing some PRODUCTIVE work on yahoo, gmail and orkut. Occasionally, they checked their official emails. They strictly forced me to not join the AT&T account. Within a month I got into a project that was a “Sprint” account.

Now a sharp twist in the path -

There is always a granted condition, applied for “non-commercial use only and it does not warrant or make any representations regarding the use or the results of their correctness, accuracy, timeliness, reliability, or otherwise….” Exactly the same way when I joined the project they didn’t familiarize me with the terms and conditions. After finishing all the joining formalities, the actual scene came to light. I had a one to one meeting with my manager. He said that it was a development-cum-support type of project. You have to rotate your time as per the schedule. That was 24/7. That statement bounced back and forth in my head, in one form or another, for a while. He had offered me a cab facility also. He said that IBM offers a RELIABLE (as they say) cab service called “Hertz”. He also said that the security would be so good that I wouldn’t have any concerns travelling even at midnight. In contrast to traditional security which was the entrenched logic – “going by cab is safe even at midnight”, I was concerned about the security which was genuine. Immediately I responded - I was not aware of the 24/7 timings and I am sorry I wouldn’t be able to adjust my time as the project demands. He was in a hurry and said that we would talk the next day.

I talked to my resource deployment manager (RDM) but he said that he couldn’t help and that I couldn’t change the project immediately. I came home a bit upset about the proposed terms and conditions of the project. I was thinking about the excuses that I could give next day. I talked to my roomie. The most common mistake that we all make is in believing that our idea is a kohinoor diamond - unique and exotic. She also did the same and gave me an excuse related to the Health problem. However it didn’t glitter.

I could not persuade myself to tell about my health at least.

The next morning I went to office without any excuse that I was supposed to portray as “the” conviction. My manager and I now faced each other. It was like a spontaneous exam for me while all the different facts remained uncertain.

Again my manager started advertising the “Hertz Rental Car” services while giving all the facilities options. I anticipated a forthcoming rejection in his voice. Instantly my imaginative alibi occurred to me and I blurted –

“I am engaged”

He won’t allow me for the night shifts of course! Moreover, he is not here so definitely he is also concerned about my security. “Where is your fiancé?” Was his curious question – Now this was the time when I had to search on “Google earth” Although I replied – GERMANY (I just randomly picked). That was a presumptuous infinitesimal, fake reply. Never mind! I had picked a European country not US, lest I had to perform a “quick sort algorithm” to filter the 50 states. That would have been a prolix presentation.

The next question was –
When are you getting married?? – I said within 6 months or later.

He was a bit tensed and said – “Okay! You have to work for 2 months until a resource comes back from US. And I will adjust your time. You need not work late nights”. I didn’t react because at that point I was thinking about how to manage “GERMANY”???
The next day I met a decent and nice person that was JSR and he was aware of the story (24/7) and he told me “Don’t worry they’ll not force you to work beyond your restriction”. He was a technical lead for that project and he introduced me to the team members –

Sastry - A silent yet humorous guy.
Sushil – An Angry young man (sometime).

The information about Germany was then clustered and published across the contextual channels - my team members.

When I came back home, the question that kept popping in my head throughout the day was – the name of the guy in “Germany”. My roomie and I were thinking about the possible permutations and combinations of names.
We had tried almost all the options including the bollywood stars excluding “Newton, Albert Einstein and James bond”, of which some were –

A for Amit (The most common name)
B for – Bhuvan (Lagaan fame – I am loving it)
C for Chandru (a bit classy)
D for Dharmendra (60’s most handsome bollywood man)

And so on….

I hadn’t picked any of these either.
The next day we had team lunch. Sastry couldn’t resist himself from asking me –

“What is your fiance’s name ??”

I didn’t have any answer because till then I had not given any name. I gave a fake smile.
He laughed and said – ohh! You have an Indian mentality so you are not going to tell your husband’s name.
I was really embarrassed however I didn’t react and just smiled again. Then Sastry said, “I’ll call him “GERMANY””. I took a long breath and was thinking - thank god! He himself gave the name. I didn’t have to use any search engine.

Since then, I followed the “Anti Spam policies” and didn’t allow them to spam me with any questions about Germany.

Now my imaginary “Instant GERMANY” was completely safe and living happily in GERMANY as I did.
After a while despite of some mishaps, everything went swimmingly and I got released from that project when JSR came back from US. I had a feeling of guilt, so I confessed that there was nothing about Germany to JSR.
The first part ended here…

In Jan 2006 I joined the AT&T project. And there is nothing special to remember….

After one and half years, I saw the actual presentation of my script - that was the movie “Jhoom Barabar Jhoom”. Don’t you think??? I inspired the first half :-)

I was probably immature at that time and I think I certainly was. Given a chance now may be I would have handled the situation with my manager in a lot different way.
I will never forget that Instant Germany. It will always put a smile on my face and I wish someday I’d get a sporting chance to see the real Germany (of course! The place :D).

The Jungle School

When I was a kid, I never played with dolls or toys. However I loved
to dance in front of the mirror, though I don't have mirror-cracking looks :-)

This is the story when I was almost 6 years old and completely
inspired by a TV show.
Like every other kid I lived in a world of fantasy half the time, and the other
half I lived in a real fantasy world with a thin line between where my imagination ended and where the real world began.

As I remember, after coming back from school occasionally/forcefully/conventionally I studied because of the general cliché of studies. - "I have spent so many hrs in my school. So!!!! Why do I need to study AGAIN????" Was my curiosity? Although my parents were never convinced.

My story begins here.....

I can still remember the excitement I felt when I came back from my friend’s house and started watching a TV show. I faintly remember the name of the show however it was almost alike "pancha-tantra". My eyes ran over the kids dressed in orange attires, sitting on the bare ground near the tree. I also noticed an elderly person with a fatty book, teaching the kids, whom I hardly comprehend at that age. I felt like a stranger to the language he used which I would now conclude as one of the most ancient language - SANSKRIT.

Now sooner did the GURU completed his lessons, than his students let themselves into a hut which had some fruits, leaves and twigs fallen from the tree. They also came across the visible view of the scenic jungle, which also overwhelmed with the shadows of the dancing trees. They sat down to eat the fruits. After sometime they started playing with monkeys and deerskin was extremely fascinated with that “on going” festivity of the jungle including the real toys like the deers and the monkeys. While I was still monopolized in the profusion of my dramatic thoughts, suddenly my mom arrived and asked me to have some food. Being a curiosity quotient one I asked my mom “ What is happening in the jungle?” My mom explained in one sentence that they all were students, the jungle was a school and the GURU was a schoolteacher.

I got an entirely different outlook of a “School” and contrary to all expectations since I witnessed that the school looked more like a jungle and not the one I was going to.The Next morning I got up and could you imagine what I asked my mom.......??????

“CAN I GO TO JUNGLE SCHOOL??? “

My mom was surprised however since she was aware of my obstinate behavior, she said, No!! You are getting late. Just wake up and get ready. Your bus will be here pick you soon.”

Since my imaginations of the jungle school still proceed slowly stronger in my mind and as I wanted to go to the jungle school not the real world school, I was not ready to follow the orders given by my mom.

I just kept insisting that NO! NO! NO! I wouldn’t go to my school and instead I wanted to go to the “ JUNGLE SCHOOL.”

My mom with continuous pursuit tried to convince me with all the intelligent excuses of which some were -

1. You can't watch TV in the JUNGLE SCHOOL.
2. There would be no mirror for you to dance.
3. Your friends wouldn’t be there.
4. The GURU would incarcerate forever.etc etc

Nevertheless, I was and am so adamant, as you all know :-) that all the excuses failed. Finally, my Aunt arrived and said “ Your school fees is paid for this year so from next year onwards you can join your jungle school. And your city school is going to shift in front of that jungle school :-)”

Now I was completely convinced and happy. My aunt won the war!!!!

That wasn’t the end of it...will update the next incident soon :-)
